Without realising, October is already coming to an end. Ooooo... Why must it past too quickly? With October ending, it means that the end of the year is approaching real soon. Before we know it, 2011 will make it exit right before our own eyes. Why is everything happening so fast? Oooopsss....
There's still a a few things on my Wishlist that is yet to be accomplish. At times I felt that there's so many things to do but with so little time left for the day.
On my previous entry, I wrote about hair dye which leads to death. Majority of the article was an excerpt taken from an online article which I've included the link before extracting the news. Thinking about it totally freaks me out. Reminiscing about the past, how I get involved in hair colouring. My obsession to get my desired colour that never work out to my expection. How frustrated it is.
I continue coloring my hair to get to the result as appear on the colour chart. I repeatedly do so & the end result is as expected; my hair is damaged.. What worst would it be if the hair get damaged... Every girl dream to have a perfect hair, long, smooth & thick. But when my hair get damaged, my level of confidence drop as days goes by. Hoping that my hair will be back to it's healthy state one day.
That's it... I'm running out of idea. Shall end this entry for now. Till the next time. Adios peeps!
If you are feeling happy inside, it will outshine on the outside. Think positive. ♥♥A smile is all it takes to cheer up the day. Keep smiling :) ♥♥
I'm hoping to be a freelance writer one day ♥♥♥♥ I'm so gonna ♥♥♥♥ it

Hair Dye That Leads To Death
Here's something to share because I feel the need to share about this news. This is about the recent news regarding a teenager who died after dying her hair. This totally freak me out. Why? I have a habit of changing my hair colour quite often. Although this year I only dyed my hair twice, I recalled back on the previous years whereby I frequently change my hair colour once in every few months per year.
It ever happened whereby I ever dyed my hair in a time difference of just "one month". It's "DIY" hair colouring that I've done previously, all this while except for once that I chose to have my hair dyed at a salon but the end result of colouring is totally disappointing. The stylist doesn't seems to have the skills to colour the hair evenly. There's a patch where the hair is not properly coloured. Of course this caused a frustration to me! The money spent is totally wasted...
But 4 months later, I bought a "DIY" hair colouring product & dyed my hair at the comfort of "my home". FYI, the " (quotation mark) simply means that I don't have my own house eventually. Obviously it's not my home. Ahaha... With the help from the people at home, I managed to get an evenly coloured hair. Atleast it's cheaper than the one done at the hair salon. The most importantly, the result is satisfying rather than the one mentioned previously.
it's the "PPD" ingredients in the hair dye product that can cause death & severe illness, etc... I'm not aware of this hazardous chemical found but one thing for sure, the next time I'm going to get my hair colour, I'll look out for this hazardous chemical before purchasing it.
Here's some facts collected from the web:
PPD might also be called any of these names:
****this is not just for store bought boxed color, this is in certain salon brand hair color as well! (see info below about Hair Stylists and Cancer levels)
And it causes Cancer: Laboratory experiments have shown that PPD damages the DNA of human cells. Accumulated DNA damage leads to cancer.
DANGERS FOR HAIR STYLISTS:
Hair stylists who color hair at work do have higher cancer levels. Studies have shown that hair stylists have higher rates of skin allergies, asthma and breast cancer, so the risks for stylists are real.
• Hairstylists and barbers with just one year or more occupational exposure to permanent hair dyes were 50% more likely to have bladder cancer than those who did not. This increased to five times — 500% — more with 10 years of professional exposure.
HAIR COLOR AND CANCER:
The Scientific Committee for Cosmetic and Non-Food Products is fully aware of the dangers of PPD.
The National Cancer Institute also warned that PPD can increase various forms of cancer such as:
The University of Southern California just completed a study linking hair dye to bladder cancer:
IT MAY NOT KILL YOU BUT IT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR THIN:
But did you know that certain ingredients are causing women and men to get thinner and thinner hair, and in some cases hair dye has even taken lives.
This is something that many big companies are not talking about, because this would put a major dent in their millions of dollars in sales and dark hair colors seem to be the most dangerous.
Since sharing is caring, here it is. I'll include the links below.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR:
The bad ingredient responsible for many people who are suffering near death experiences from hair dye is: Phenylenediamine (PPD) its present in over 2/3 of chemical hair dyes, and is known to be toxic to the immune system, skin, nervous system, respiratory system, liver and kidneys. It is the most toxic chemical in hair dyes. It is a substance used in rubber chemicals, photo developer, oil, gasoline, ink, textile dyes, dark cosmetics and hair dye. The European Union classifies it as a toxin and irritant that is dangerous in the environment. In Canada, its use in cosmetics is restricted and it was banned in France, Germany and Sweden. PPD is a neurotoxin and is even used in anti-freeze.PPD might also be called any of these names:

The National Cancer Institute also warned that PPD can increase various forms of cancer such as:
- non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Multiple myeloma
- Breast Cancer
- Leukemia
- Bladder Cancer
The University of Southern California just completed a study linking hair dye to bladder cancer:
• Women who used permanent self-administered hair dye at least once a month for a year or longer were twice as likely as women who did not use permanent hair dye to develop bladder cancer.
• Those women who used permanent dye monthly for 15 years or more were more than three times as likely to develop bladder cancer as non-dye users.
So what's a girl or guy who wants to dye their hair or cover their gray to do?
No worries, we just have to make sure what we're using or where we're going uses hair color without PPD.
Do a little research before you head to the store to buy hair color or before you head to the salon to get your hair colored- and remember to look for the other names PPD labeled as above.

Tragedy: Tabatha McCourt collapsed 20 minutes after dying her hair and died in hospital
Like many teenagers, 17-year-old Tabatha McCourt loved to experiment with her hair colour.
And when she decided to try a new darker shade one evening with friends, she assumed her home hair-dye was perfectly safe.
But within 20 minutes of applying the colour, she was screaming in agony. She then suffered what looked like a fit and collapsed ‘like a lifeless doll’.
Tabatha was rushed to hospital and later died. The exact cause of her death is not known, but medics are investigating whether it might have been due to a severe allergic reaction to a chemical used in 99 per cent of all hair-dyes: PPD or p-Phenylendiamine.
This chemical fixes dye permanently into the hair so it doesn’t wash out — and it is causing increasing concern, with some experts now calling for an outright ban.
In our quest for eternal youth and glamour, hair-dyes have become big business. Every year, we have more than 45 million salon treatments in the UK, while chemists and supermarkets sell at least 50 million boxes of hair colour.
But with this rise in demand comes an increase in the number of people prone to side-effects — some of them deadly. In January, Mariade Kelly, 29, ended up in a hospital high-dependency unit after suffering a severe reaction to PPD. She had decided to dye her hair black.

Hair Dye Allergy Suspected In Teens Death
The death of a British teen who screamed in agony and collapsed moments after coloring her hair has put the spotlight on D-I-Y dye.
Seventeen-year-old Tabatha McCourt from Lanarkshire, England, died in hospital after what medics suspect was a severe allergic reaction to p-phenylenediamine, or PPD, a chemical found in permanent hair dye, theU.K.’s Daily Mail reported.
McCourt, a veteran dyer, began pulling her hair and vomiting 20 minutes after applying the color at a friend’s house, according to the story.
PPD allergies usually cause itchy, red and swollen skin on and around the scalp. But in very rare cases, even a small exposure can cause anaphylaxis, or death.
“Severe acute allergic reactions like this are very rare but not impossible” said Dr. Darrell Rigel, a clinical professor of dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center. “If it happens, the first thing to do is take an antihistamine. And then get to an emergency room right away.”
Anaphylaxis is caused by a massive release of histamine – the same chemical that brings on hives. An overload of histamine causes blood vessels to dilate causing a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Anaphylaxis is also marked by confusion, difficulty breathing and swelling of the eyes and face.
The Daily Mail also described the case of 29-year-old Mariade Kelly, whose jet-black locks landed her in intensive care earlier this year.
“My eyelids had swelled completely shut, and I couldn’t see,” Kelly told reporters. “I was terrified.”
Although dye boxes come with allergy warnings urging users to test the product on a small patch of skin first, many dye-hards skimp to save time. And for people with severe PPD allergies, the skin test alone could trigger a deadly reaction.
Even for routine dyers who have taken and passed the patch test, small changes in ingredients could trigger allergies to once-benign products. Rigel said cosmetic users should take note of minor reactions and go for an allergy test to avoid a more serious episode later on.
“Usually, the first exposure sensitizes you but doesn’t cause the severe reaction,” he said. “If you know you’re allergic to something, you can avoid it.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'There was yellow pus oozing from my scalp and it had the most horrific smell of burning flesh.
'I knew straightaway that was from the dye but at that point I didn't panic, I just took some anti-histamines and put some Sudocrem on my hairline, where it was starting to blister, before I went to sleep.'
'Both my eyes swelled up and the skin at the side of my earlobes was really swollen and itchy.
'The worst part was the awful pus that was still oozing from my head all the time.
'We went to A&E and I was seen pretty quickly, but at that point, because the reaction was still relatively slight, I was sent home with some anti-histamines and told to keep an eye on it.'
3 hours later she had to return, this time being hospitalized for 3 days.
One of the doctors asked her if she had ever heard of the chemical PPD.
An ingredient in many hair dyes, para-phenylenediamine (PPD) is a common allergen banned in many European countries.
People can become allergic to it at any time, even if they have been exposed to it before without problems.
For this reason, it was voted Allergen Of The Year in 2006 by the American Contact Dermatitis Society.

It's The End Of Raya
Today's 27 September & it's the last day of Eid... 29 Syawal. Fasting lasted for 29 days & so do Eid. Like the saying goes; every beginning will come to an end. It's always hard to say goodbye but life must go on.
With Syawal ending, it means that September will come to an end in a few days time. Times flies real quick. Sometimes I feels that I couldn't keep up with life. The more I try to chase time, the more further time will run... I'm mentally tired...
Back to the topic. What I did last weekend?
It's the final week of Syawal... So I was invited to an open house on Saturday conducted by my relative(aunt side). Last year, I did not make it to their open house due to "time clash".. So this year I managed to turn up. Throughout the day, I stood at the kitchen. In between when I felt tired, I sat for a while & observe whoever guests that came by. I felt lethargic, tired despite me not helping out much. Physically, I'm exhausted! I'm quite surprised that I still received an "hangbao" this year despite my current age right now. It's embarrassing to accept but I just accept. Like the malay saying, (rezeki jangan ditolak)...
It's quite an exhausting weekend for me. I reached home past midnight upon returning from the open house. This is what I call "Girl Power!" Terror right? Ahaha... Bcos we are the "Charlie's Angel" . We can be independent even without a man beside us...
The next day which is Sunday, I have my agenda for the day. I finally meet up with my dear old friend of a decade(This is the 10th year in our friendship) after postponing our meet up for nearly a year. It's over 10 months since our last meet up. Honestly it's such an enjoying moment whenever I spent time hanging out with her. Every seconds past felt so quick. Without us realising, we have to end the meeting for the day. Due to time constraint, we have to called it a day. The saddest part is when I have to say goodbye & leave the place. It felt as if we just met. I don't want time to end that soon. I always felt that I still have a lot of thing to discuss & talk it out with her.
Meileng knows how to get me talking since I'm the quiet type you see. With others, I can't be like what I am when I'm with Meileng. My true self, character comes out when I'm with her. I don't need to pretend to be like what I'm not used to be. With her, I can simply say out whatever's bothering me spontaneously. I don't have to plan out what I have to say. It just happens spontaneously. But my biggest fear is that along the way, I might say something that might get her offended. Due to my spontaneous speech, I'm very worried. But I hope I won't say something that might offend her.
We explore Orchard Road despite not being familiar with that area. Shall call it "Orchard Exploration" but didn't manage to explore much due to l ack of stamina & time constraint. We are scheduled to meet up during lunch time. When reaching Orchard, it's almost 2pm. Walk around to explore. We planned to visit H&M but ended up going somewhere else. Went to Neon Orchard, New Look(Did i spelt it correctly?) & Plaza Singapura & much ore which I can't recalled. She showed me the way to Daiso. It's quite embarrasing that I just came to know there's such shop available. Everything sells for $2.00... Ooooooohhh.... I'm always at home & didn't get the opportunity to explore the places around. But I'll seized every opportunity that's given to me...
Time check it's already 11:03pm. My eyes are getting heavier. I'll update more when I had the time to do so. I'm physically & mentally tired right now. I'd better get my sleep right away & shall not forced myself to stay awake when my eyes are telling me to rest.
Till the next time. Cherio peeps!

Half September Gone
Today marks the 20th day of Raya, Eid-ul-fitri... 9 more days left for raya before it make it exit.. Time passes real quick... I can never chase the time but I can only try my best to walk with it. Go with the flow with life. Do I make sense here? What crap am I talking about down here? Sigh..
18 days already past in this month of September. What are the things that happened throughout this period of time? Happy, sad, dissappointment, frustration, any more?
Those are the things that we're likely to encounter in our daily life. Life is like a spinning wheel. No doubt, we'll be encountering to any of those situations in life.
What are the things that's happening throughout this month?
It's quite a hectic month for me. Busy running some errands. There's quite a few things to settle throughout the day. My biggest wish for September is to be granted a permanent placement in the job industry. It's hard for me to get employ by employees. Perhaps my resume wasn't good enough or maybe it doesn't stand up among the rest of applicants. One of the other reasons which I can think of is my lack of ability to speak well during the interview sessions.
I still do feel awkward to start a conversation with people around. Being away from the working industry for quite a long time had prevent me to have a smooth conversation with others. I'm trying my best to be more presentable in public especially when it come to public speaking. But it's hard for me. I seriously thinks that I need a proper session to guide me in the way to speak in public, during interview session. Personal grooming class perhaps?
Honestly thinking of all these is making me tired. Physically & mentally tired. Anyway in early September I gained weight. When I noticed that, I obviously freak out. Like usual. But halfway in September which is now, I lost back the weight that I just gained. Within 6 days after I had a drastic lost of appetite, I lost the extra pounds that I gained. Am I happy? Of course I am! Wee... But I know I lost weight the unhealthy way by skipping several meals for the day & by eating lesser than usual.
Sometimes, I wonder what causes the drastic weight loss? Stress or feeling pressurised? I'm unsure which causes it? But one thing for sure, whenever I feels stress out, I'll quickly tell myself repeatedly that I must cheer up. Either by listening to soothing, calming music, killing time with games or watching movies online, etc... Thinking of happy thoughts will instantly put a smile on my face. I am a happy-go-lucky girl despite being quiet & shy. That shall be the way :)
I'm ending my final post for this week. Till the next time peeps! Cherio! Remember a smile is all it takes to cheer up the day! So keep smiling :)

Comparison In Reality
Hi everyone... I'm back after a week of absence. Sorry for the lack of updates. I try to blog as frequent as possible but due to time constraint, I have to slow down a bit.
Let me try to pick out a topic for discussion. Let me think.... Ermmm.. Alright this shall be my spontaneous discussion on the chosen topic. Totally unplanned! Let's talk about status this time. That kind of status or rather rank in the industry, be it working life, schooling or daily life. According to my own research, there's a few type or behaviour that people especially those in the higher rank behave.
It's common from what I observe, those with a higher rank like executive, managerial position will behave in a somehow "different" from us the non-executive level. Perhaps with their higher position, they normally think highly of themselves. In some cases, they don't go about mixing with those from the non-executive level. They don't even bother to care about their staff welfare matters, etc...
Managerial & executive level can get along pretty well maybe due to their level rank. Having a pleasant discussion together while those in the non-executive rank were left out from the group. This things is common everywhere. In some cases where a new staff just join the company, not confirm yet as a perm staff, they are the ones who will feels totally left out. Perhaps the nature of work, environment is different. In some places, the colleagues are totally friendly while some may not be the same. Perhaps it's the way how we view things.
Of course not everyone from the executive level behaves that way. It only applies to some. I think there is an invisible line that cut through between managerial, executive & non-executive level.
In reality, this is it. Like it or not, we have to face it willingly. Let's learn to accept things positively instead of viewing things the negative way. It's easier said that done but if we try our best, we definitely will be able to achieve it.
I'm running out of ideas to elaborate more on this topic. Perhaps some other time, I may or may not continue writing with this topic. Only time can answer.
I shall end my post for this topic. Till the next time. Cherio readers! Have a great day everyone :)

When September Came
This shall be my first update for this month. Hello September.
Last weekend I went for my first Raya visiting. But it's kinda embarrassing when I still receive "green packets" a.k.a. hangbao or whatever it's called. For the benefit of those who have not heard of this word I'll include images of it below. It simply means an envelope, a small one, containing money. I'm sure everyone understand what I'm saying. What am I talking about. Like duh!
P.S.: I'm quite sad that my breakout is yet to recover. Hoping that it shall recover totally soon. Yesterday, one acne just pop up & I freaked out again! Scary feelings thinking of the scars...

I'm lucky to get this packets from every house that I visited. Like oopsss... I shouldn't be getting them at this age. Being in the adult stage makes me feels embarrass & somewhat awkward to receive it ... Maybe they still think I'm a student. But perhaps they knew I'm still unemployed.. Alrite... Will take that as the reason. Ahaha...
Not goina update much for today. Till the next time peeps. Cherio :)

♥Salam Lebaran 2011♥
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1432H, Maaf Zahir Batin to all Muslims. Minal' Aidzin Wal Faidzin. Salam lebaran. Eid Mubarak! Ermmm... What else?
I'm back! It feels so good to be back. For nearly a month of lack of updates, I'm finally back :) Today is the 2nd day of "lebaran", "raya" "eid-ul-fitr" or whatever term is used for greetings. It's time to celebrate after a month of fasting. This year there's only 29 days of Ramadan. But to some like Indonesia, it is still 30 days. That means Indonesia just celebrate 1st Syawal today.
Throughout August, I did not really update my blog. Only for some reason, I did a quick update just to share some links or music videos that I think I need to share during the month of Ramadan & towards the upcoming Syawal. Not really a "proper update" though.
I'd like to share a link, a video meant for Lebaran. A musical programme by local station called "Simfoni Lebaran". To be honest, I did not really get a a chance to catch it during its telecast. I was away on eve of raya & during it's 2nd telecast on the morning of Raya, I'm busy with some preparation. I only managed to watch toward the end of the programme. So I decided to include the video below. Courtesy from XinMsn catchup tv.
Check out this great MSN video: Episode 1
Will watch this some day. Just update for posting. I'm not sure if the embeded codes works. Otherwise, just click the link to watch it.
PS. I have yet to do any visiting for raya this year. I'm unsure when will the day be for "visiting". Maybe weekend. Ermmm only weekend is possible.
I'll have to stop for now. Till the next update. I know this is quite a short update but as the title goes, it have to be something related to the current festive. I might update some day since I can't think of any updates for sharing. I'm not going to get too personal here as it's open to public. Only things that I feel can be share with readers, I will write it down otherwise I'll not reveal any.
Cherio readers & Wasalam to passerby muslim readers if any :-)

♥ Local Hari Raya Songs 2011 (Festive Songs) ♥
I keep telling myself not to update this month but I cannot help it. I just wanna share the 2 videos below & I'm not goina elaborate on anything. I must update today because of the festive mood approaching in 4 days time; Yup it's known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or "Eid-ul-Fitri" as known worldwide.
I just wanna share my favourite song for Hari Raya this year. It happens to be a new released songs from my idol; Taufik Batisah. There's only 2 songs sung by him. One solo performance & the other one is a duet with the 2nd SG idol. Well I'm not a fan of the 2nd SG idol but since my idol is in the song, I shall include the live performance below.
My Most Favourite Song is the solo performance which is entitle "Syawal Yang Mulia" by Taufik.
http://youtu.be/rt7HvSWG7Q8
Below's is a duet with the 2nd idol. A song entitle "Kenangan Di Hari Raya"
http://youtu.be/DkEqccsv-GQ
I enjoy watching his live performance. I was there when he sang that song. I came down to catch his live performance cum autograph session. But nope, I didn't get his autograph neither did I purchase his Raya album. Just came down to catch him singing live. Truly enjoy his performance :)
I'm ending my entry for now. I'll update more after Raya which is September! Still busy with the festive preparations. Btw, tomorrow is Singapore's President's Election Day. We, Singaporeans all have to vote. I'm goina get some sleep for now. Will need to wake up early tomorrow morning for voting. The sweet thing is the voting place is right next to my housing estate; a primary school. That's the venue for voting. I have no idea who to vote. I'm not familiar with the political candidates...
Good night to all readers stopping by my blog. Do leave a comment at the chatbox informing where you're from. Till the next time. Cherio readers :)

Ramadan 2011
This video had been posted about 2 months ago. I only get the time to view it now. As I've mentioned last month, I'm not goina write any post for this month. But I post this just for sharing since this is the month of Ramadhan. I find it peaceful to listen to this kind of music in this holy month. Perhaps that's the spirit of Ramadhan. So here it goes.
Another video released on August 13. I wanna include this in my blog for future viewing.
Both videos featuring my favourite singer; Maher Zain :)
p.s: Today marks the 15th day of Ramadhan. 14 more days remaining before Aidilfitri.. Time flies real quick!
Have a blessed Ramadhan to all Muslim's out there :)

Final Post For Now
This will be my final post for this month & most probably till end of August. I'm looking forward to the upcoming month of Ramadhan. For sure, within this special month, there'd definitely be a lot of things to settle & to be done. I've decided to take a break from blogging till the end of August to be more focus on the necessary, top most priority task to be done. Probably by September 2011, I'll be back to pen down all the things that happen within my absence from blogging.
With this I will say; "Goodbye July" & "Hello August"... I may not have the time to update my blog this weekend so I decided to squeeze in some time do a "quick update" today. I'm not going to write up a long entry like usual but this post is just to remind myself or "returning visitors"(if there's any) that I'll be away for a month or more. Thus, there'd be no updates throughout my absence.
Seriously, I have no idea whether there are returning visitors or any readers whose goina read my blog. But since there are a few visitors as shown at the "stats counter", I'm quite delighted... In February 2011, there's only about less than 100 visitors but since end of March 2011, the number of visitors shoot up to 1000. Only in early 2011, I made my blog available to public without any restrictions. Seeing the number of visitors multiplying somehow made my day. Atleast there are readers who visited or read my post.
I'm not goina drag any further. I'm happy if anyone who read my posts felt the same too. Seeing someone else's or anyone happy will simply brighten up my day....
Final words from me; A smile is all it takes to cheer up the day. So remember, Keep Smiling :-) Cherio readers!
♥♥ D'Lytez ♥♥
♥♥♥♥ I'm so gonna ♥♥♥♥ it
(P.S: Pls ignore all the grammatical or language mistakes made. Bcos I simply love to write & hoping that by frequent blogging, I can improve on my so-called "imperfections" in language)

Facebook Maniac
I wonder why people are making use of fb to rant about their terrible day. Cursing, complaining is a common status each time I log into fb. The question is why must these people pass out an awful remarks on fb?
What's the purpose of Facebook?
I get irritated with all those. Not only negative remarks but also people are using facebook to reval about their personal routine and even personal affairs, eg relationship status. Why must you go on bragging about the new expensive stuffs you bought. Going out on a romantic date with your partner. Elaborating on every details of the day. Isn't it a little bit over reacted?
The funny thing is that particular person will brag daily. We wouldn't mind if you wanna share your personal experience on your fb status but must you post everyday about the same thing. Over and over again, that bragging is repeated. That makes me bored whenever I logged into fb.
Must you tell the whole world regarding your daily agenda. Time spent with your loved ones? Please stop bragging about your relationship status with your partner. I'm sick and tired of reading the same post daily. Must you even post on fb when your boyfriend or girlfriend is away on a work schedule, studies or even NS. I remembered a female friend from my friend list is posting daily, doing countdown on the day her boyfriend will be back from NS. Come on girl! Get on a life!
You don't have to inform the whole world how much you dearly missed your bf right? You are acting as if you are the only one whose in love. Don't over react about your love story girl! It's best to be on a low profile especially when you're in love. You'll never knew what happens next. Everyone knew you're currently in a relationship but you don't have to keep posting about your "date" with your bf. Posting updates on your status & pics whenever you go out on a date.
Apart from the most common relationship status update on fb, there are other common status too. The normal bragging about stuffs bought. Complaining about work issues. Wonder why people must grumble each time they are hungry. If you are hungry then go get yourself a meal. Case solved right! Again if you post it once in a while, people won't get too irritated but you are posting it almost daily. You're getting on our nerve peeps... By informing us every single details of your day, you are encouraging us to be a "busybody", or the proper term used NOSEY. Prying eyes into someone elses affairs is not my forte.
Don't get too personal in facebook peeps... If you really wanna elaborate more about your day then I suggest you start writing it on a blog. If they fells like reading your blog, they'll definitely visit your blog. Don't force anyone to read about your stories by posting it on your fb status. You may if you wish, to post a link to your blog if you want it to be read by your friends. But never post a long updates as your status & worst still posting a multiple updates on your status. You are just spamming everyone's wall.
I hope it's clear on what I meant by facebook maniac. I have no intention to insult anyone but this is just a common status found in facebook. No offence to anyone. My apologies if anyone by all means felt offended by my post.
That's it for now. Till the next update. Adios & Cherio readers!

11 July 2011
Couldn't think of a title today so it shall be today's date.
6 months had past. Half a year gone. It's July & 2011 will end in 5 months time. Time past real quick. 5 months is still quite a long time to end but without us realising, it shall end real quick.
I don't know what to write today but since I've not written any entries this month, I shall work on it. I'll try to update every month.
In two weeks time, July shall make it exit and August shall enter. (Today is only 11 of July. Why am I talking about ending this month? I think too far ahead. Hehe..) Talking about August, it's goina be the start of the fasting month, Ramadhan. 1st August shall be the first day of Ramadhan. Exactly two full weeks before fasting starts. 6 more days through this week & 2 full weeks, 14 days left before fasting starts. This year fasting starts on Monday. Hopefully on that day Monday Blues can be avoided. Hehe....
I'm thankful that I managed to clear my remaining fast by June last month. After much of procrastination, I survived! Yeah...
What I hope for this month is to be in the pink of health & manage to secure a permanent placement real soon. I need that income for daily survival. After countless number of applications, I hope one kind soul will accept mine. Hopefully. For sure I'm tired of waiting but I shall never give up in hoping for nothing but only the best in the future ahead.
That shall be it for today's post. The first post in July. Adios readers. Cherio :-)

Honest Reply
I get this alot. I was often ask this question; "Hey it's been so long since I last meet you. How are you doing? Are you attached or single?" Friends are so eager to know about the "relationship status". Notice why I put a quote (")? The reason: I'm sure I'm not the only one whom often get this type of question. This is the top favourite being ask by many.
Usually this "relationship status or topic" is often being pick by majority when meeting up with friends whom they have not seen in ages. I belong to one of the "victim". Not to mention friends, even relatives do that.
Especially when attending an engagement or wedding, this will be the most frequently ask question. (Am I attached? When will I get engaged? When will my wedding take place? Hopefully I'll be next.) When they ask me the FAQ, I'll just say Amin, Insya Allah or just smile. It's best not to say a word. But, the more I try to avoid, the more likely they'll ask.
And now an honest reply from me. Believe it or not, I've never fall in love throughout my life. If I don't even have time to hang out with my long time friends, what more going out on a date or having a serious relationship? I'm hope that clears that FAQ. Ahah!
This shall be my final post for June. Goodbye June. It's hard to say goodbye but that shall be it. Adios readers & cherio :-)

I'm In A Despair ;- (
Yeah! One more day & I'm done... Finally.... I can defeat my "procrastination". Yes... I've proven one thing. Anything can be achieved when done with a GREAT DETERMINATION... I survived! But I couldn't be too happy until I completed the remaining day.
My Despair
My feelings is in despair. I'm happy that I managed to defeat my procrastination but at the same time, I'm feeling really down. Feels like crying, explode & nearly give up. I've tried very hard in job search but no one seems to have given me the chance to prove myself. I'm inexperience & perhaps that's the reasons why I was often rejected.
I'm just hoping that one kind soul will give me a chance to prove myself. Give someone like me whom just graduated about a year ago a chance in the working industry. I have no experience because I was not given the chance to start working. Thousands over applications over the past 18 months since the day I graduated but no one has ever given me the chance to have the experience to get started.
If this is the case, then every single fresh graduates out there will never have the chance to prove themselves. I don't know what else to do. I've been waiting all my life.
Jobs that doesn't requires any experience as training will be provided. This sounds great BUT applicants must be able to speak MANDARIN. This is so unfair for non-mandarin speaking people! The question is does every customers come from CHINA that we often need to liase with Chinese speaking clients? Sorry to say this but I personally think this is so biased & unfair! common, Sg is a multi racial country. We speak different dialects down here.
The only thing that hinders for applicants including me to be employ is an unreasonable language barier! The main requirements should atleast be bilingual. Everything is in english down here. What the heck is there always a need for mandarin speaking applicants. That requirements is a MUST to speak Mandarin to liase with chinese speaking clients. If this is the case, I will never secure a job forever! Totally absurd!
If talking about experience, I might not have much but they should atleast give me a chance.
I'm tired thinking about this. Whenever an interviewer take a look at my resume & noticed that I was unemployed for quite a long time, they pass on this remarks. " Why are you unemployed for so long? Are you being so choosy? I thought the market is quite good & you should be able to secure a job easier."
How am I to get a job easier if not even one kind soul(employer) give me a chance to have that "Experience" to prove myself. Their remarks hurts a lot! If only they knew the trouble I went through, doing an intensive job search daily. Working on so hard until I fall sick easily lately because of the stress. I'm at this age & still unemploy. They thought I simply slack around being lazy & postponing job search. But the fact that I went through all the sleepless night thinking when will I start work every single moment. At any point of the day, I logged in various job portal & screening through the posted jobs one by one. Morning, afternoon, night & midnight; I'll seize every available timing of the day to continue on my search.
After all that, how can they say I'm lazy? It broke my heart. Totally dampened my spirit to presevere. I give up! I don't wanna think about all the negativity that will make me feels so down.
I wanna think only on the happy thoughts. Let's stay happy at all times.
Remember my favourite quotation? A Smile is All It Takes To Cheer Up the Day. Keep Smiling :-)
